HOPE4Kids | Raising Hope

Please join us in raising funds for foster youth in Ventura County! The HOPE4Kids Festival & Run is a community effort sponsored by RaisingHOPE in partnership with Living Oaks Community Church, Ventura County Children & Family Services and a variety of community partners. Money raised by this event go directly to assist foster youth in paying for any needs that are not covered by Medi-cal, the county and other organizations. To date we have assisted hundreds of youth with orthodontia, textbook purchases for college courses and extracurricular activities such as sports equipment, camps, arts and more!

Help us find permanent connections for children waiting in foster care!

One of the things we are most excited about is our partnership with Ventura County CFS to present our annual Foster Gallery at the Festival. We will feature mini-biographies of children in need of homes and licensed social workers will be available to answer questions about adoption and foster care. HOPE4Kids is the only place you will see this in the county and it is a great way to get information on fostering or adopting through foster care. We will also have the private foster family agencies at the event so that you can learn the various avenues for fostering. If you are interested in foster care or adoption, please stop by the Foster Gallery to learn more!

You Are a Community Partner

There are many ways that you can support this cause. You can participate in our 5K or 10K Run/Walk as an individual or as a team. Children ages 0-9 can participate in our 1 mile Fun Run. You could also become a corporate sponsor or sponsor an individual runner. In addition, we will have a silent auction at the Festival. Please feel free to preview the items on our Silent Auction Gallery page.

Here is a link:  to our Amazon wish list.  Pick up something and send it to us!  Thank you for supporting the youth in our community!

Entrance to the event is directly off of Potrero between the two Sherwood gates (between Stafford Rd and Trentwood Rd).
